ROYAL ACTION BREAKS HIS MAIDEN STATUS

Sep 13, 2010

It was very satisfying to see ROYAL ACTION (Royal Academy/Speedy Cat) break his maiden status at Sale yesterday. It was only his second race start but we had been to the trials a number of times as we weren’t able to get a run, we were an emergency or the races were off with the wet weather.

Ridden by Daniel Moor who was able to get him into a lovely position just behind the leaders. On the home bend the field spread wide on the spacious Sale track which ensured that there was plenty of room for us straight up the fence and we took the quickest way home. The margin was narrow but when your number goes up in first it doesn’t really matter!

Tony was pleased with the win ‘The owners have been very patient with this horse, it has been very frustrating. In work and his trials we have been pleased with what he has done and we are glad that he got to show that at the races yesterday’.

Congratulations to his owners Graeme Hall, Adrian & Christine Hall, Brian & Margaret Hall and Wayne Vincent – we hope that there are plenty more wins in stall!!
