Saturday will be a day of mixed emotions for the stable as we bid farewell to SOUL DIVA who is having her final race start.

SOUL DIVA is the type of horse that owners would love to own. She is an honest horse who always rises above the problems to come back bigger and better next time. In a race she never gives up and will finish it off right to the finish post no matter what.

Since she was purchased by Laurel Oak as a yearling back in 2003 she has become an integral part of the stable. She is extremely kind hearted around the stable but when she hits the track she gets right down to business.

She has had her fair share of injuries but we are thrilled that we will be able to send her to stud a very healthy mare (and hopefully a winner!). The stable has already started talking about her progeny as we know that she will make a super Mum we want to see the progeny come back here!

Thank you to all of her owners Laurel Oak, Barry Hastie, Mike Forsdick, John Woods, Garry Mortlock, Paul Morgan, Michael Baumann, Jonathan O’Hara, Jeff Tucker, Paul Atley, Paul Aalto we have enjoyed having SOUL DIVA here for such a long time. She has become a favourite of most, even (especially!) the boss! Go MARCIA!
