TRISTA ROSSA WINS AT GEELONG

Jan 25, 2011

TRISTA ROSSA was able to break her maiden status at only her third race start. The stable had been impressed with her last preparation and her work leading into this race and many punters had put her into their black book after her recent Pakenham trial.

In the famous Gerry Harvey blue and white colours the daughter of Testa Rossa was able to sit just off the speed and when asked by Jake Noonan she was able to work into the race strongly and aided by a great ride by Jake was able to get up the fence to win the race by a length.

Tony was pleased with the win and also very optimistic about the future ‘I think that she will be a lovely filly as she matures. She was unlucky not to win her first race and I am glad we have the maiden victory.

‘I have has success with the Testa Rossa and she is very much in a similar mould to those that I have trained with success. I hope that for Gerry Harvey and the team that she continues to develop and improve in the same way’.

We hope that the future is very bright for Trista Rossa!
