It was a very welcome return to the racetrack for the owners of LADY PACHIRA. Having had her last run in May of last year it has been a long road in between.

She was another one of the team to step out at the Pakenham trials and on that occasion was very pleasing in her run. Tony was then pleased with her going into the race at Ballarat and she raced up to expectations and won. The margin on the line was 0.4 lengths and whilst not much it is a win and Tony believes that she may not be suited to the firm conditions.

‘We had asked the owners to be very patient after her last preparation. The owners were extremely supportive and I was thrilled that we are able to get this win first up’ Tony said.

Congratulations to her owners The Laurel Oak Gilly Synd (Mgr Louis Mihalyka), Shuffler Synd (Mgr Shamus Skase), Lanista Syndicate (Mgr Steve Cook), Rob Ward, Magnificent Seven (Mgr Tony McDougall), Matthew Jackson, Blair Suffolk and Jan McAuliffe, lets home the run can continue!
