It is a week now that Jake has been a patient of the Epworth Hospital in Camberwell and we have been really pleased with the progress he has made in that period of time. Realising that it is just over 2 weeks since the fall and we still have a long way to go to full confidence and mobility, he has become a lot more independent. He is involved in a number of programs such as physio, occupational therapy and hydrotherapy which keeps him occupied and motivated and he can now watch TV. Of course there are times where he becomes frustrated and tired but that is part of recovery. We keep positive and assure him he is a day closer to coming home. He can’t wait. Thanks again everyone for your cards and well-wishes. He gets a real thrill out of them. Thanks, Tony.
