After his debut win at Sale two weeks ago, STRATUMSPHERE made the step up to a city race at Moonee Valley yesterday and produced another fantastic performance to win by almost four lengths over the 1000m. Ridden by apprentice Jarrod Fry, he put the race beyond doubt heading into the straight and went away to record a scintillating win making the horses behind him who no doubt have their share of ability look second rate. It has been an extremely promising start to his racing career and we hope that it continues when he encounters the Flemington straight in a couple of weeks time. His victory actually made the Channel 9 news last night as they did a feature on Jake who accompanied the horse to the track. Thanks goes out to his strapper Steve Wicks and all the staff at Greendale who have done a fantastic job with the colt. Congratulations to owners Mr R D Keenan, Mrs K P Keenan, Mr J C Cawood, Mr J M Duarte, Mr H J Mitchell, Mr N J Turner & Mr A D N Fraser on a terrific victory which they were all thrilled about it. They should have a lot to look forward to with this very promising colt.
