The Perth Stable continues its winning form, with another winner at Northam in Moonlight Miss who broke through her maiden status at just her third start. This was a good strong win, having won the jump she was challenged for the lead and put under pressure for much of the early stages, upon straightening she kicked and sustained her run to fend off the late challenge of the backmarkers to prove to good and win by a half length over Reign of Terror.

Moonlight Miss, a daughter of Due Sasso who stands at Gray Williamson’s Mungrup Stud is out of the mare Tropical Minx making her a half sister to GROUP 3 WINNER VAIN RAIDER. A $31,000 yearling purchase from the 2010 Perth Magic Millions Sale, she looks well on her way to recouping her initial cost for long time supporter of the stable Nevin Botica. MOONLIGHT MISS becomes the second winner for Nevin Botica this week, who also enjoyed a good win with SINGLE WARRIOR at Belmont on Wednesday. Congratulations Nevin.
