With our numbers increasing at the stables so has the work load.
The team here at the stables would like to give a warm welcome to some of our new staff.

Brett and Mary Mallyon.
Both have been involved in racing for a major part of their lives.
Brett started his career in the industry as an Amateur Rider, placing 3 times runners up and winning one in the Amateur Rider Premierships. With great success he then went Professional.
After Riding he naturally turned his hand to Training and was first licensed in 1987. He has had vast training experience all over Victoria and spent a number of years lecturing at Northern Tafe, proving not only has he developed the practical skills within his career, but the ability to pass on and teach his vast knowledge to others; an important skill we value our Assistant Trainer’s to have.
His lovely wife Mary was the number 1, track rider for C.S. Hayes and rode in picnics and the professional circuit.
Mary then also had some success as a Trainer and became the leading “Broodmare” of Jockeys Andrew and Katie Mallyon.

We are delighted to have Brett and Mary, and we are confident that the knowledge and experience they bring is going to provide another dimension and energy to the Stables, that will help continue to grow and ultimately improve our quality of services and results of the team.
