Apprentice Jake Noonan was rapt to get a win on "Sussuro" in the Travis Harrison Cup at 1600m at Caufield Saturday. The win broke a city drought for the apprentice when he steered the mare home for a strong Victory.

"She's one of my favourites. I've always liked her from the first moment I rode her. I thought she'd run well today," he said.

With a convincing win Sussuro will head to Flemington Saturday for the TROA/Luxbet Winter Champ Final, at 1600m. She has drawn Barrier 10 and again the Jake Noonan will be on board.
