STABLE SUCCESS CONTINUES

Dec 07, 2012

After 3 winners last weekend, another Tony Noonan Racing horse has saluted at our home track of Mornington. JOHANNA'S OWN, a four-year-old mare, won the ROSEBUD HOTEL 0-62 race for fillies and mares over the 1532m.  With a terrific ride by Jake Noonan, the mare sat at the tail of the field during the race before pulling out wide around the bend and sweeping home for a comfortable win by a length. The fact that it was difficult to make ground on the day with the rail out made the win even more impressive. Congratulations to owners Roy Higgins & Wylie Dalziel Racing, Mr P Sambor, Mr G M Fraser, Mrs K A Fraser, Miss E L Fraser, Mr B J Fraser, Mr G Sirianni, Mr F Sirianni, Eight Pelicans Racing, & Mr W M Stephen. On the win today we are confident there will be more to come.

Our other runner at Mornington was GRAND ORATOR who ran another very honest race to finish third in the SPECSAVERS OPTOMETRISTS FRANKSTON HANDICAP Class 1 over 1532M. After having a month between runs we are sure he will greet the winning post first in the coming weeks.

QUICKSILVER LASS lined up in a Mares 0-68 over 1200m at Moonee Valley on Friday night and ran very well to finish fourth after getting back from an outside barrier. The mare has held her form from her terrific win at Mornington and is knocking on the door for another victory soon.
