Calibrate too strong to the line at Pakenham

Aug 07, 2015

Calibrate proved too strong at Pakenham this afternoon in Race 7 - John Duff & Co (Bm64) over 1600m. The win is a great way to start the racing season for Mornington Father and Son combination Tony and Jake Noonan.

"He found the line strongly today, he had an ideal gate and I was able to stay one off and from the 600, I knew I was not going to be beaten. He will be even better when he goes out over 2000m" Jake Noonan commented after the race.

The win continues the top form of the stables at the moment a result Tony attributes to "A loyal owner base, hard work, a great stable of horses that have started to mature and a lot of luck!"

Congratulations to all the owners, a well deserved win.
