GET INVOLVED IN TWO NEW 2YO FILLIES BY STRASBOURG AND DOUBTLAND JOINING OUR SOCIAL SYNDICATE TEAM

Wed, Sep 18, 2024

Our Social Syndicates owners have been having a terrific run in recent months, and in fact following the recent strong staying performance by Mystic Vamp to break her maiden at Pakenham, we find ourselves in the fantastic position where every one of our current Tony Noonan Social Syndicate horses that has been to the races is now a winner.

If we say so ourselves that's a great result by any measure, but even more so when you consider that all of our owners in these horses have been able to get involved with friends and community members for no upfront fee and an extremely modest monthly share of training expenses (in most cases $25 a month).

It's been fantastic to see in recent months many of the owners of Socially Sassy, Spoken Heiress and now Mystic Vamp enjoying the excitement of their first ever winner at the races.

However as anyone who has ever had a share in a horse knows, it's always the next one that is going to be the champion that we (and Tony) have waited for.

OUR NEW SOCIAL SYNDICATE FILLIES

To that end Tony has recently introduced 2 very promising new 2yo fillies to our Social Syndicates stable.

Both are big strong fillies by promising young sprinting sires, that we are optimistic will see racing action as 2 year olds.

Both have already generated strong interest but there is still space for groups who may be interested in a 5% or greater share to get involved. Or it may be that your group would like to split 10% between the two.

BAY FILLY BY STRASBOURG from HIGHLEIGH by SO YOU THINK
                                               (see accompanying video)

Already well ahead of the curve having not only been broken in but has recently completed her first period of stable education at Greendale.

Tony's intention is now to give her a short break in the paddock before bringing her back for a late spring / summer preparation where she will tell Tony how far she is able to go at this stage of her career

She is a strong robust filly who has so far done everything right

Her sire Strasbourg was a Group 2 winner as a 2yo and is a son of the great stallion I Am Invincible. His first crop are now 3yo's and from a small number to race he has sired Group 3 winner Colmar, stakes placed Flying Straz and Stormbourg, placed in the $1mil Showdown at Caulfield

Her dam Highleigh is by the champion stallion So You Think and is a half sister to 5 winners including multiple Group 1 winner Danleigh. Highleigh won 2 races from 10 starts in NSW and is already the dam of recent impressive Pakenham winner Fire High

BAY FILLY BY DOUBTLAND from STARVASIVE by STAR WITNESS

Another big bay filly is who a little behind her stable mate in her progress but hey, Makybe Diva didn't race until she was 4!

Broken in and Tony will look to bring her into the stables later in the spring for her initial education

She has a bit of attitude - a bit like her mother who Tony successfully trained - and while that may be slowing her progress a little at the moment it may well hold her in good stead further down the track

This filly is by first season sire Doubtland, an unbeaten stakes winning 2yo by champion sire Not A Single Doubt, sire amongst many many others of Everest winner Classique Legend. Doubtland was blessed with outstanding acceleration which he hope he will be passing on to his progeny

The filly's dam Starvasive is by Star Witness (sire of Dazzling Lucy) and was trained by Tony to 3 wins as well as being twice city placed. She had brilliant speed, often leading in her races
